I saw The Melvins, and Big Business at the intersection this past Saturday. I was pretty excited about the show and the idea of two drummers. Shit was boring. Everything just blended into one big sound/ noise/ song. You couldn’t really hear the guitar, and the drummers were both playing the exact same thing. Though I will give them they’re propers for being totally locked up with each other. We left before it was over. It was just a boring no intesity show. I know they type of music it is, and I wasn’t expecting insanity and fire eating or anything nuts. I just get the feeling I keep going to see hese great bands and the crowd is lame so they just end up going through the motions.
